Myths have been used by us for millenia to give meaning to the unknowable, introduce magic, and guide us to live in our own epic ways. 

The myth of Inanna inspires us to explore the depths of our shadows and give voice to the misunderstood. Demeter and Perspehone reminds us of our place in the rightful cycles of seasons. Their story reminds us that eternal up-and-to--the-right growth is not healthy. That there is right time, right size, and even the necessity of rest.

In the modern Persephone story, the roles of Baubo and Hecate have been written out. We'll explore the older tellings of this story and bring Baubo back to life. Letting her laughter and bawdy jokes inspire us to make good trouble. And to do it with humor!

These stories remind us how to be humans. How to live epic lives, in the most mundane of ways. In every moment. 

Myth

Tea ceremony

We'll start our day together with the silence, reverence and ceremony of tea.

Tea gives us a practice to engage in stillness together. It's an ancient way to start a day, mark it as a sacred time to spend together, and to honor the places, the terrain, the plants and the people who have brought us together for this moment. 

In tea, we'll practice meditating with the mustangs, right near by. 

Constellation

The Horse

You are invited to join the herd -- the herd of 2 Mustang horses that freely move around us during our meditations and sessions. 

Horses are creatures of the senses: With panoramic 360-degree vision, the largest eyes of most land animals, huge ears relative to their body size, massive nostrils and touch-sensitive whiskers, they perceive the slightest of information in their surroundings. 

And this includes us!  Horses perceive our micro-gestures, visualizations and physical expressions to read our emotional states, sometimes better than we do. Recent studies even suggest they can smell fear and joy and more complex expressions of mixed emotions. 

Most importantly, we entrain to their nervous systems. So being near a calm horse can stimulate us to co-regulate: Our breath slows, our heart rates steady and we feel a sense of calm, peace and love.

A Constellation sessions is a process where we invite the hidden loyalties, forces and figures in your life to come out and be represented in a facilitated session. In every constellation, there is a movement and ultimately a resolution. We can be left with clarity, resolution, and a greater sense of love. 

In Horse Constellations, the horses are free to move among us, illuminating connections and emotions. They are powerful forces, and completely sovereign, choosing their level of participation in every moment. They are not especially trained for constellation work -- they are simply well-socialized and trained to be safe for humans to interact with and express big emotions around them.
